I wasnt around when tamagatchi was a thing. I wish I could get a handheld one but after this FREE app, I favor this more on my phone!!A+

I just downloaded the latest update and it erased everything that I have worked on up to this point from the last few months. What a joke. I just did my own update by deleting this app from my phone.

It brings me memories of my childhood. Very good game!

Fun game, i enjoyed the mini games (one is a rip off of flappy bird in tamagotchi-style graphics) I paid $2 to remove the ads but the free version is still good. My only complaint is that i cant get it to work on my apple watch, it starts installing and then stops at the last second.

I really enjoy playing Watchi! Brings back memories of other fun games like this. The only thing I wish is this game sync with my sleeping hours - if developers add that option I give this app 5 stars :-D

As a child of the 90s, I had a lot of giga/nano/tamagotchi pets. Know what made those interesting? They could die. Not that I ever killed them on purpose, but keeping them alive was motivation to click the "feed button" multiple times a day. I forget about this thing (because Im an adult now with actual pets and children to care for) and it just lives and lives and evolves and lives. Not only that, but I dont care for the appearance of this app. Sorry to sound so grouchy, but I just dont see the point?

It is adorable but I cant find out how to sleep

3 stars (1 each) for notifications, variety of types of watchi at different ages/stages, as well as games/food Missing a half star for inability of watchi to die or at least have a setting for either option just like the tamagotchi Missing the other half for inability to determine how to evolve to a certain type... e.g. "collect" each type at different stages Missing another half for inability to sync to my wake-sleep cycle or at least a setting to set "Do Not Disturb" hours Missing the last half star for not having more beverage options that milk... Cant my child have some juice, my teen some soda, my adult some spirits, or all types some water? :P

Update: wow, this new version is awesome! So many food options!!!! This is the best tamagotchi app, brings me back to childhood. I love we can now name our Watchis (mine is named "buddy"). The watch app is much faster now too with this update. Keep adding new features!!!

Omg!! This is like tamagotchi for modern times. It is very fun to play with, easy to understand, and very cute. I love the foods you can feed him and the poop

The new update is weird. The foods will only keep the watchi full until it poops it back out, which is immediately, then you have to feed them again. There doesnt seem to be a way to keep them full for awhile. I like the games but they dont seem to give any happiness points anymore, apart from the ball game. Happiness points are very fleeting also. Good thing it cant die I guess.

This seems to have differed between updates, but sometimes watchi will die within an hour of me taking Care to make sure all his levels are full. And the notifications dont help, often they are sent after watchi is already dead. Also I wish that they stopped sending notifications once watchi has died because I know hes dead but it keeps sending me a message saying It needs me.

If your too cheap to buy the actual Tomagotchi app this is probably just as good P.S. Mine died at 2 years

Pet dies easily! Cant get pass the first two stages. Constantly needs attention. Only people with no lives, work, or school can stay on their phone all day to care for this thingy. All needs improvement! I dont remember my Tomagochi pet being this annoying when I had one as a kid

He dies way to quick...like I have a life to I cant watch over him all day lol no but really you guys need to fix that its tampering with his evolutions

Great improvements in this version! Some of the simplest games are the most fun. Watchis games like flappi and bullseye are a blast!

the bigger screen looks great, but having the creature going alllllll the way to the right to eat/play kick the ball feels like leftover code from when the screen was smaller. but other than that, i dont have any complaints :) love the simplicity of the app, especially

I downloaded this app because it reminded me of playing with the Tomagotchi as a kid. It was fun and nostalgic. I played it for a few days and was excited to see him growing. I checked him before bed last night and when I woke up this morning he was dead because I hadnt cared for him in the night. That is ridiculous!!! The game should allow you to be away for 8 hours without killing it. Who is going to wake up in the middle of the night to play a game? Stupid. I deleted it because Im not starting over again only to have it die over night again. I deleted this app!
